Please apply now if you would like to be a part of a great company! A baler operator is responsible for operating baling equipment to compress, bind, and package materials into bales . This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the baler, as well as monitoring the flow of materials and ensuring they are loaded correctly into the baler. **Responsibilities/Duties:** + Inspect, sort, and bale all waste cardboard and plastic + Operate forklift + Maintain balers and compactor clear of trash that can build up and create a malfunction. + Maintain the dock area (area surrounding baler) + General Housekeeping **Qualifications:** + Valid driver's license + Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals + Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team + Must be proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology **Physical Requirements:** + Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking + May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping + Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job duties, including handheld electronic equipment. + Frequently lift/move up to 50lbs This position will start at $14 an hour with a chance of becoming permanent with the client.
