The Baler Operator efficiently operates and unloads the baler while maintaining a safe and organized work area while achieving company goals, under the direction of the Operations Lead. Additional responsibilities include equipment up-keep, non-mechanical maintenance, and safe operation.

Direct Hire position$19.00 /annuallyFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredVarious shifts available (Monday through Friday)Operate baler on a daily basisMaintain a clean and organized working environmentUnload baler as bales are producedRecord hourly/daily log of total weight materialsRecord down time of the baler flowComplete and maintain necessary paperwork pertinent to the assigned departmentPerform physical duties that are associated with the operation of equipmentFollow direction of the Operations Lead with regards to daily production and activities to complete the jobPerform daily preventive maintenance on equipment as requiredFollow the dress code and compliance of proper PPE at all timesMake decisions, solve problems, and handle high stress situations calmly and safelyWork independently in the absence of direct supervisionBaler Operator and Unloader Qualifications:
Knowledge of Non-FerrousExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to organize, plan and prioritize work efficientlyPass a pre-employment drug screeningPass a pre-employment background checkWilling to work overtime and weekends when necessaryBasic math, reading and writing skillsHeavy equipment experience preferred [Skid Steer, Bob Cat, Fork Lift, Front End Loader]Material handling experienceApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
