Job Description:At Regions, the Bank Operations Card Manager is responsible for the strategy and management of Card Operations. This position supports either the credit card operations function or the debit card operations functions.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversees all aspects of debit card or credit card operational functions which may include issuing, transaction authorization, maintenance, and transaction settlementOversees processing maintenance requests on the Total System Services (TSYS) card platform and providing support for inquiries related to card payments, transfers, returns, account closures, legal subpoenas, and return mail Responsible for the settlement, reconcilement, payment processing, and second level support of Treasury Management’s Purchasing Card and Payroll Card productsPerforms business acceptance testing for product implementations and campaigns; handles exceptions, and responds to client inquiriesOversees daily balancing and reconcilement of various card platformsEnsures compliance with bank policy and all applicable federal regulations and state lawsDevelops, recommends, and implements business plans, operational procedures, and systems which support the department's long-term, strategic objectivesEstablishes goals and objectives for the division and evaluates and measures the division’s performance against these goals and objectivesDevelops and maintains written departmental policies and proceduresConsistently analyzes and reviews workflow for process improvementsDetermines departmental structure and allocates resourcesMeets established production and quality standardsManages departmental budgetProvides coaching and career leadership development for supervisors and team leadersPrepares reports and analyzes key metricsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
