Job Description:At Regions, the Bank Operations Reconcilement Specialist is responsible for the daily and weekly reconciliation of payments and transfers.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepares daily and weekly reports to review all incoming transfersEnsures all open items are prioritized and reviewedEnsures all queries are logged and up to date in the appropriate systemsClarifies payment details to ensure appropriate funds allocationNotifies appropriate parties of non-receipts/rejectionsTakes corrective action on incorrect payments to reduce potential riskAssists in handling escalated issues/problems when necessaryProvides advice and guidance to less experienced associates as neededThis position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GEDTwo (2) years of related banking or operations experienceSkills and Competencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentGeneral knowledge of banking proceduresProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
Hours of the role:
6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday
Training in office for first 3 months.
After training, you would have the option to work remotely on Monday and Friday.
The first 5 business days per month are mandatory in office.
