As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing financial transactions, and assisting customers with their banking needs. Key duties include handling cash deposits and withdrawals, processing checks, transferring funds, and responding to account inquiries. Bank tellers must verify customer identities, balance cash drawers, and ensure compliance with security protocols. They may also help customers with opening accounts, issuing debit/credit cards, and referring them to other bank services as needed. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in cash handling are essential for success in this role. ...
Responsibilities:

Process transactions efficiently while maintaining a high standard of transaction quality.Confirm transaction details with customers to ensure their needs are met and minimize rework.Regularly balance the cash drawer to ensure transaction accuracy, notifying the supervisor of any discrepancies.Research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer and internal inquiries. Assist other departments and branches with transaction support as needed.Support branch duties such as keeping ATMs supplied and training new tellers, as assigned.Sell official items like money orders and cashier?s checks to offer customers additional financial options.Adhere to all applicable regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering laws.


Working hours: 8:00 PM - 5:00 PM



Skills:

Associate's Degree - (Preferred but not required)Previous experience in banking or a similar customer-facing role.Experience as a bank teller with a proven record of accuracy and efficiency in transactions.



Qualifications:

Ability to interact courteously and professionally with customers and colleagues.Demonstrates capability to resolve customer inquiries effectively.Willingness to support other departments and work cohesively within the branch.High school diploma or GED.2-5 years of experience in a similar or related position.Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.Ability to handle financial calculations with extreme accuracy.Must be able to reliably commute to the 40223 zip code.
