Job Overview:
The Banking Coordinator provides treasury and banking support for our homeowner’s association. This includes depositing payments received for homeowner accounts and other misc. payments, executing authorized banking transactions, and monitoring assigned invoices during the accounts payable process.
Compensation: $19-19.50/hr
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Your Responsibilities:
The department consists of a team of Banking Coordinators who will rotate into one of the job’s core functions for a pre-determined period of time. At any given time, each individual Banking Coordinator will be assigned to one or more of the below core functions.
Core Function: DEPOSITS
Remote deposit processing via check scanner Preparation of manual deposits where applicable Process on-line electronic deposit checks for clients and monitor the destruction of checks on a monthly basis. Research and handling of unidentified items. ReconciliationCore Function: BANK ACCOUNTS
Maintain association bank accounts, including opening and closing of accounts as authorized by association board of directors Facilitate updates to bank signature cards when requested Manage notices of dormant accounts / address changes Scanning and retention of bank documentsCore Function: MAIL
Perform mail duties, including: Pick-up of all checks/mail from deposit drop sites and office mailboxes. Sort and distribute mail to appropriate parties for processing. Opening of mail and batching checks in preparation for deposit. Research and handling of unidentified items. Manage email requests. Order bank supplies when needed.Core Function: TRANSFERS
Execute bank-to-bank transfers and related transactions, including: ACH and wire transfers Check requests to banks Code vendor invoices in AP Workflow process Timely and diligent follow-up on uncompleted items or transactionsSkills & Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications, (Outlook, Access, Excel and Word). Good written and verbal communication skills. Prior banking or bookkeeping experience; or experience in a related field. Use all tools provided and instructed for tracking requests and monitoring progress. Follows quality system procedures. Timely for work and meetings. Professionalism exhibited in dress and demeanor. Works collaboratively within a team and individually. Adherence to service principle. Use of forms and procedures established by the company. Write correspondence to the standards established by the company. Organization of workspace. Attendance at all mandatory company functions. Other duties as assigned.Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Requirements and Working Environment:

Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard. Work duties may require the ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. Consistent and regular attendance required.
