Banking Litigation Staff Attorney

Our client, a leading AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Staff Attorney to join their Banking Litigation Practice Group. This is a hybrid role, providing an opportunity to work both remotely and from one of the firm’s offices in NY, FL, NJ, or PA. This is a non-partnership track position.
Candidate Profile: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction. 3–5 years of substantive litigation experience, including drafting motions, handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, and appearing at court hearings. Strong knowledge of Articles 3 and 4 of the UCC and experience with consumer protection statutes, including EFTA, FCRA, FDCPA, UDAAP, TILA, and RESPA. Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in a range of banking and consumer litigation matters, handling all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution. Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and clarity. Conduct and manage discovery, including depositions and document review. Appear in court for hearings and other proceedings as needed. Advise clients on compliance and risk mitigation strategies related to banking and consumer protection statutes. The firm provides a competitive compensation package, including an annual salary range of $135,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience, along with discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits suite.
