Banking Relationship Spec (Sr Relationship Banker)

Position Description:

Job Purpose and Scope:

 

In this role, you will build professional relationships with customers and provide sales leadership and coaching to team members. Utilizing your knowledge of consumer and small business banking products and services, you will engage customers in meaningful conversations regarding their financial needs and goals. You will also help cultivate, maintain, and strengthen relationships with the community. You will promote a positive, helpful, and friendly team environment and provide exceptional customer service at all times.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

Enthusiastically support the bank’s values and missionEngage customers in meaningful conversations regarding their financial needs and goals, identifying consumer and small business products, services, and digital solutions, including deposits, loans, business online banking, mobile applications and treasury and merchant services, to meet those needsOpen and service complex small business and personal, consumer accountsConduct outbound sales calls and teleconsultingModel banking center lobby leadershipProactively serve as role model for client service and consumer banking team members and coach sales activities, including opportunity spotting/referrals, joint selling, outbound calling, and lobby managementCultivate professional relationships with customers, listening carefully to their needs and displaying empathy to provide the best service possibleDisplay a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism at all timesActively promote teamwork, leading by example and taking initiative to assist othersComplete all essential training and display enthusiasm for continuous learning, accepting constructive feedback from more experienced team membersMaintain consistently good punctuality and attendance to workFollow Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines to protect customers and bank assets

 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
