Banking Services Analyst III - D&PS

**Overview:**
Provide support to the line and department managers of the Deposit & Payment Services (DPS) Center of Excellence (COE). The type of support required includes aiding teams in defining project scope/requirements as well as assisting DPS teams during testing/implementation of related projects. Support also includes maintenance of project roadmap and monthly accomplishment documents. The analyst should be able to work independently and be able to communicate well with multiple levels of management.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Document requirements and/or procedures as applicable for reporting that has been implemented or to support a cross-functional project.
+ Act as a project lead to support departmental audits, including user certification and compliance testing for DPS.
+ Manage the planning, testing and implementation of new projects, systems, products and regulatory changes impacting DPS teams.
+ Coordinate support between internal business partners, external vendors and Technology to address issues for assigned DPS teams.
+ Develop good working relationships with line and department managers in the COE to support their project-related needs.
+ Proactively collect updates from management and maintain Roadmap document and Monthly Accomplishments reporting.
+ Understand and adhere to department timelines and deliverables for regular and ad hoc tasks; this includes prioritizing requests based on capacity and need and setting expectations appropriately for management and all business partners.
+ Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
+ Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
+ Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

**Education and Experience Required:**
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ related experience,
OR in lieu of a degree, a
A combined minimum of 6 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ related experience
Strong analytical skills
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent word processing and spreadsheet software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
**Education and Experience Preferred:**
Experience in project management
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $60,890.34 - $101,483.90 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
