POSITION SUMMARY:
\nThe Banking Specialist is responsible for receiving and processing requests to open, close and update bank account information. This is an accounting support position in a fast-paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America. Candidates for this position must meet Associa’s credit requirements.
\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
\nDuties include but are not limited to:
\n\nProvide comprehensive bank related customer service to US Branch offices\nFacilitate client needs with partner banks (Opening/Closing/Maintaining HOA bank accounts)\nWork with departments across shared services center to ensure operational efficiency for various accounting functions\nMonitor, log, and retrieve HOA bank statements \nTransaction research\nManage Bank Information in Complete Control for Communities (C3). \nUpdate signature cards as requested.\nGenerate banking reports within Complete Control for Communities (C3).\nOther duties as assigned. \n\n\n RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required\n1 – 3 years of banking experience preferred\n\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
\n\nDetail-oriented\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel\nExperience in customer service \nBasic understanding of accounting functions\nProblem solving and time management skills\n\n\nDESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
\n\nComplete Control for Communities (C3) software preferred but not required\nExperience operating within web-based ticketing service preferred but not required\nUnderstanding of or experience in the Community Association Management Industry preferred but not required\nExperience working in an Accounting Shared Services Center environment preferred but not required\n\n
