New York City Office of Law Firm is looking for a Bankruptcy Paralegal who is familiar with both NY and NJ matters. This is a great opportunity for a Bankruptcy Paralegal who is looking to make a move to a well-known firm and be an integral part of a busy and growing team.

Key Responsibilities/Job Description:

Prepare, file, and serve pleadings and calendar and track deadlines Assist attorneys with most aspects of case managementPrepare and file any needed forms Draft, edit and finalize documentsWork with attorneys in group on business initatives and stay abreast of anything relevant Review and monitor case dockets to identify, summarize, and circulate relevant pleadingsManage hearing preparation and support, including arranging appearances and preparing hearing materialsAssist with hearing and trial preparation.Respond to creditor inquiriesAd hoc projects

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal at a law firmChapter 11 exprience is requiredMust have experience with both NY and NJ bankruptcy mattersMust be open to hybrid as well as fully in office at timesBachelor's DegreeParalegal Certificate, a plus -- not required
