What we expect:  

Job Functions:

The ability to oversee the set-up of functions including checking of the physical layout of the room, providing the servers with the proper set-up information, and posts updated function sheets in the Banquet kitchen.

The ability to oversee the service of the function assigned by the Banquet Manager to insure the success of the function and staff adherence to all service rules.

The ability to meet individual hosts and makes him/herself accessible to the host for any need that may arise.

The ability to properly close all banquet checks and complete the Captain's log book at the completion of the function.

The ability to oversee the clean up of all functions and insuring the proper removal and storage of hotel linen and skirting.

The ability to report all incidents to the Banquet Manager.

The ability to prepare and post daily room assignments for servers including specific times for set-up and service.

The ability to prepare daily payroll statistical reports.

The ability to oversee proper clean up, handling and storage of all props and specialty china.

The ability to assist the Banquet Manager in the annual performance evaluation of the banquet servers.

The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.

The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.

The ability to ensure the proper care, security and maintenance of hotel equipment through proper supervision of service personnel.

The ability to constantly monitor the staff's appearance, attitude and degree of professionalism to ensure their strict adherence to Four Seasons' standards of quality service.

Ideal candidate will have: 

Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

 Experienced in all aspects of banquet service.

Minimum of two years banquet experience and/or food and beverage management/supervisory experience.

Excellent motivational skills.

Excellent leader and trainer.

Possesses an eye for attention to detail.
