Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole is looking for a Banquet Captain/server who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do.
Responsibilities
Serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.Acts as a leader to the team, taking daily responsibility over the Servers and House Attendants. This position requires communicating with not only coworkers but also guests in a clear and concise manner. Be attentive to the needs of all guests in the function spaces, providing them with dependable, prompts, and enthusiastic service.Assist with the physical set-up and take down of banquet rooms.Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table.
Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the Banquet Manager or kitchen.
Transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
Greet guests in a professional manner and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Assist with set-up and breakdown of banquet events.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
Preferred Qualifications
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities. This include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote teamwork.Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in food and beverage service or related work.Strong oral presentation skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding events.
Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Some travel may be required.
Work authorization in the United States required
