THE JOB:  

As a Banquets Coordinator at Mandalay Bay, you will be an essential part of the food and beverage team, providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations for banquet events and kitchen logistics. You will coordinate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), assist chefs, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure everything runs seamlessly. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help create exceptional guest experiences for every event.

THE STARTING PAY: $19.00

  

THE DAY-TO-DAY:  

Provide administrative support to the Food & Beverage department, including answering phones, processing paperwork, and coordinating tasks with chefs and other departments.Organize and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring timely and accurate execution for kitchen and banquet teams.Assist in coordinating meetings, scheduling relief staff, and supporting the procurement team with inventory and purchasing tasks.Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that orders are received, processed, and organized efficiently.Support special projects within the F&B division, helping to maintain smooth operations and accurate reporting.Perform other administrative tasks as requested, such as preparing build sheets, organizing the kitchen boards, and assisting with payroll and scheduling duties.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:  

Has at least 1 year of relevant administrative or food & beverage experience.Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in Banquet Event Order processing and inventory management.Is proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and has some experience with systems like Oracle or Amadeus (preferred but not required).Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with frequent coordination between departments.Is adaptable, able to manage multiple projects, and works well in a structured, team-oriented setting.Excels in communication and collaboration with chefs, managers, and other team members.
