We are seeking a detail-oriented Banquet Manager to lead the coordination and execution of special events. As the primary liaison between Marketing, Sales, and the Food & Beverage Departments, you will ensure that each banquet supports our casino-wide marketing initiatives and enhances the guest experience. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering exceptional service for all events.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, gathering all relevant event details such as agendas, room layouts, A/V needs, meal times, menu selections, and guest counts. Work closely with the Banquet Chef and other departments to ensure all aspects of the Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) are coordinated and executed seamlessly. Maintain a well-stocked inventory of banqueting supplies and manage orders as needed to meet event demands. Present finalized BEOs to clients on event day, communicating any updates or adjustments, such as extended bar service or room changes. Ensure all banquets are invoiced accurately and promptly, working with the Finance and Sales Departments for proper tracking. Post event checks on the same day as the event and ensure timely closure of all financial transactions. Oversee accuracy and client approval of all BEOs, ensuring flawless event execution. Manage labor costs through monitoring systems like Agilysys, NetVu, and Paylocity, while maintaining and adjusting personnel schedules for the Banquet Team. Set and uphold service standards for the banquet team, ensuring a high level of professionalism and consistency in all events. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required At least five years of recent managerial experience Minimum of five years of experience in Hotel Sales and/or Banquet operations Five years of Food and Beverage experience required Must be able to pass a background check Valid Washington State Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server's Permit required
