 The role of Banquet Server involves ensuring exceptional service to all guests during banquet events. This includes greeting guests, serving them, and setting up and breaking down event areas flawlessly. The Banquet Server will follow Autograph and Tribute Collection standards under the franchise of Mainsail in a consistent and professional manner.About Trilith Guesthouse

What you havePrevious hospitality and/or banquet serving experience.Excellent customer service skills.Able to use technology to include computers, tablets, POS, and iPads.Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken form.Working knowledge of food and beverages.Knowledge of local laws in regard to serving and consumption of alcohol.High School Diploma or higher.What you’ll doSet up functions in the banquet space to include other areas within the hotel as indicated in the Banquet Event Order.Serve meals to the guest in a professional and hospitable manner, ensuring the meals are delivered to the correct recipient with allergies and specific meal requests in mind.Set up for banquet functions, including placement of dishes, silverware, glasses, chafers, serving ware, linens, various décor, and condiments.Pre-set tables to include (but not limited to) water, menus, and salads.Manage and maintain stations or station areas during the banquet period and inform the supervisor of any changes or needs that do not negatively impact the guest experience.Serve alcoholic beverages to guests while following local laws regarding alcohol consumption and checking the validity of age.Bus tables and station area quickly and quietly.Clean up and break down the function area upon the end of the event, including clearing tables and banquet space, removing food receptacles, and removing linen and décor.Other necessary duties as assigned by reasonably assigned.
