What will you do? Assist with the complete catering setup in accordance with banquet event order (BEO), including but not limited to, tables settings, buffets, and beverage stations Accurately transports food and beverages to guests in a timely manner Performs necessary tasks to service guests including, but not limited to, filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, and clearing dirty dishes Notifies guests of food and beverage preparation techniques and has knowledge of menu offerings Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints Replenishes food on buffet lines if necessary Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow associates Ensures proper stock of all product and supplies needed for service Breaks down event according to company procedures May be required to bus tables during and at completion of event Performs other duties as assigned More about you Must be at least 16 years old Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Minimum of 1-3 months previous experience in food beverage service or related guest service environment preferred Ability to complete required pre-employment food safety and alcohol service training Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple table assignments at one time Ability to work with the varying event schedule is preferred Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly Physical requirements Ability to lift up to 35 pounds for set-up, service and clean-up of functions Ability to stand or walk for entire length of shift; may include walking up and down stairs Good mobility to maneuver between tables to deliver food to customers Oversee events indoors as well as outdoors, regardless of weather conditions May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending on season Shift details
