Banquet Server
This position is for a passionate individual with excellent communication skills and a strong desire to offer the best Banquet experience while engaging with our guests.

What you will be doing:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceProvide service to guests attending functions.Assist the house team in setting up function rooms and moving banquet assets/furnitureProperly stock all convention equipment in appropriate areas as per the hotel standardsInteract with guests during meal periodsFlexible shifts including mornings, evenings and weekendsEffectively handle guest concerns through empowerment, and report any irregularities to the shift supervisorAssist as server in other areas when neededAssist with guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful wayWork alone or as part of a team to cater to the needs of our group attendees.Follow outlet policies, procedures, safety protocols, and service standardsHave full knowledge of beverage lists, promotions, menu items, contents, and preparation methodsCarry out any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificatePrevious experience as server in luxury setting requiredWine and beverage knowledge requiredOf legal age to serve alcoholFood handler & TABC certifications requiredExcellent communication and organizational skillsFull professional working proficiency in spoken English required, both verbal and non-verbalComputer literacy required for all new and ongoing training programs conducted virtuallyStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesProven ability to resolve guest concernsHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, and without supervisionAbility to multi task and work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
