Responsibilities include:
Adhere to guest service requirement listed above Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standardsMust maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity or guestThis is a uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on dutyAssure all tables are clean and properly and safely setAssure all audio and visual equipment is properly setEnforce all Liquor laws and regulationsEnsure quality service standards are followed and cost controls are adhered toSet up all banquet and room stations according to checklistKnow the menu and answer questions regarding food preparationAnticipate guest needs and respond to any requests, or place guest in contact with an appropriate person for assistancePerform breakdown of used place settings and utensils and transport to dishroomBe familiar with the safe handling of cleaning products and equipment and supplies, and Banquet equipment and storesAssist banquet and bar service as neededBRING US YOUR BEST. High School Diploma with one year Guest service experience desired.Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects or assignmentsStrong customer service skillsAbility to work effectively with independence and as part of a teamAbility to follow all policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policiesMust be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidaysMust successfully complete a TiPS class within 45 days of hireAbility to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects or assignmentsAbility to follow all policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance, appearance, safety, and security policiesOrganized with a fine attention to detail and the ability to look / plan aheadAbility to identify circumstances or incidents that require the notification and/or approval of othersAbility to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidaysAbility to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgencyAbility to effectively work independently and as part of a teamExcellent Guest service skills; outgoing personality and demonstrate friendliness and enthusiasm
