• To lead the Bar team to superior beverage experiences to our guests with his creative flair and passion for beverage.
• To create drinks and menus that place the Bar as the Bar to Be through his effective leadership and innovation.
• Execute the smooth and flawless operation of the Bar
• Complete all bartender duties when necessary
• Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the bar, including the menu items' ingredients and preparation
• Ensure that all details of service are performed by the bartenders to expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service in line with FORBES and Asian Heart Standards
• Train bartenders and service team to ensure beverage knowledge and service levels are to standard
• Drive cocktail menu changes to ensure fresh, innovative and seasonally accurate cocktails are available on the menu
• Assist with beverage costing, promotion and sales
• Contribute to shift briefings as required as well as lead staff training sessions for all beverage products
• Complete product requisitions accurately and maintain bar beverage inventory control
• Monitor bar opening and closing duties and completed daily to standard by bartenders
• Provide professional assistance to customers with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships
Experience:
• Proven management capability and business acumen in bar operations and leading teams
• Extensive experience in bar operations within a five star service environment
• Experience in inventory and facilities management
• Current knowledge of Health and Safety, Food Safety Standards and Chemical handling regulations
Education
• Minimum requirements - High school graduate
• Relevant accreditation or tertiary qualifications to compliment on-the-job experience would be an advantage
