The Bar Porter is responsible for the area relative to supplies, equipment and the removal of empty or soiled articles. Creates a high standard of cleanliness to bar, according to established policies, so guests enjoy a safe and memorable experience.
Essential Duties:
Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, coolers and other bar appliances in accordance with Hard Rock policies.Ensures bar is set properly.Ensures all soda gun products, fruit garnishes, and mixes meets service standards.Stocks assigned bar with product and supplies throughout the shiftPrepares all mixes and garnishesAcknowledges, greets and converses with customers who approach the barPerforms other job-related duties as assigned. #zipcorporate QualificationsQualifications:
A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a bar porter and/or bar back in a casino, high-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurant preferred.Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishesAdditional Requirements:
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidaysMust be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required.Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift & work inside assigned bar areas in the venueMust be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.Must successfully pass background check.Must successfully pass drug screening.Work Environment:
The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
