Why you want this position: Meals provided Lively working environment Pay: $12 to $13/hour + tips Shifts: Part-time, morning and day shifts available - hours ranging from 24 to 30 hours per week On-the-job training Growth opportunities
Essential Functions and Duties: Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences, operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment to ensure the quality of beverages Maintain knowledge of menu items, including specialty drinks and seasonal offerings Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently Continuously ensure cleanliness and organization of the counter, work area, and seating areas and assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and restocking Complete daily inventory checks, replenish supplies as needed, maintain stock levels and manage product waste
Qualifications: Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is a plus Strong communication, interpersonal skills and basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30lb and the manual dexterity for operating equipment and preparing beverages Must be able to pass a federal background check
