Position Summary:

Serves guests food and beverage items in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Creates memorable experiences through personalized and genuine interactions. 

Essential Duties:

Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture values and mission of The Club at ArrowCreek Barista’s are responsible for fulfilling orders, and completing transactions, as well as performing other support functions, such as keeping all surfaces cleaned, including the food preparation area, guest seating area, and performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business, or as assigned by management. Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public, as well as your co-workers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner. Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions. Requires the ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, policy documents as well as conversing with guests. Requires the ability to learn, and maintain knowledge of The Club at ArrowCreek policies and procedures. Provides a high level of coffee service during peak hours, which will include making a variety of espresso, and non-espresso drinks. Up-keeping our highest cleanliness standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Ensuring work areas, utensils, and equipment are being sanitized after each use. Servicing guests and taking orders, as well as describing all menu items. Must be able to suggest menu items, and have the ability to upsell products to guests. Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items. Accurate cash handling and operation of the POS system. Ensures guest satisfaction, and anticipates guest needs, replenishing items as needed, and maintains a clean and clutter free workstation. Ensures that each menu item is prepared in the exact detail outlined in each order. Delivers food orders from the kitchen to guest tables, in a rapid and accurately time manner. Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course. Keeps work stations well stocked of items and ingredients. Works closely with restaurant management to immediately address all guest concerns. 

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must obtain any required local and state licenses or certifications. 

Preferred Requirements:

2+ years’ Server experience preferred Proven exemplary customer service skills Previous experience as a Barista or similar entry-level role in a restaurant.

Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

Food Handlers Card/Certification is preferred

Skills

Ability to communicate effectively with managers, guests and employees both verbally and in writing. Must be able to perform basic math computations.
