Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Promotes, suggests and sells merchandiseMerchandising skills and attention to detailUnpacks, sensors, and prices all merchandise in an organized and timely mannerMeets attendance requirementsResponsible for keeping up with product knowledge of all the brands and vendors carried in the storeCompetence when processing cash, travelers checks, checks, credit cards, and room charges.Maintains cleanliness of store, fixtures and merchandiseFills out requisition formsRestocks all needed areas of the storeGreets all guestsThanks and uses all guests’ names when availableMust be able to complete and have knowledge all aspects of the job on a regular basis

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidaysMust have a professional appearanceMust be fluent in English (read, write, speak) with clear telephone skillsMerchandising competence with organizational skills and attention to detail is requiredNatural ability to communicate with others; orally and writtenMust be customer service oriented and possess the ability to up sellExcellent hospitality skillsRelated Retail experience an asset
