Bartender

As a full-time Bartender at Esplanade Lakewood Ranch, you will be an integral part of our Food & Beverage team, providing exceptional service to our members and guests.
Your role will focus on crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming and elevated experience. We are looking for individuals with a passion for hospitality, a strong knowledge of cocktails, and a desire to deliver top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service: Greet and interact with members and guests in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit. Beverage Preparation: Accurately prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to the established menu and recipes. Menu Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the beverage and food menus, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions. Provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Cocktail Crafting: Mix classic and contemporary cocktails with consistency and attention to detail, maintaining high standards for presentation and quality. Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, well-organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This includes restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and keeping the bar area tidy at all times. Inventory Management: Assist in managing bar inventory by tracking usage and notifying management of stock needs. Participate in monthly or weekly inventory checks. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure a seamless dining and bar experience for guests. Communicate effectively to ensure special requests and dietary restrictions are respected. Compliance: Adhere to all state and local laws regarding alcohol service, and ensure that members and guests are of legal drinking age. Practice responsible alcohol service at all times. Problem Solving: Resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, seeking management assistance when necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale environment preferred. Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally more. Must be able to handle the physical demands of working in a busy bar environment.
