GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is responsible for mixing and serving drinks to guests.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes. Ring drink orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests for drinks served and make change. Wash and sterilize glasses, stemware, utensils, and bar equipment. Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers’ excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, refusing to serve additional alcoholic beverages, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons. Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies. Never touch clean dishes after touching dirty dishes without washing hands first Maintain a clean, safe work environment. Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate. Active participation in events, programs, meetings, and training Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response. Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days, and evenings.
