Job Description While this job description outlines the key responsibilities of the position, it is not all-encompassing. The primary goal of every role is to ensure outstanding guest service, whether by fulfilling requests personally or directing them to the appropriate department. Below is a summary of the major responsibilities for this position. Responsibilities + Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift. + Provide upscale service with extensive knowledge of fine dining standards. + Possess in-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, and beer, as well as the full food menu. + Confidently sell and present wine selections to guests. + Demonstrate strong sales and communication skills. + Greet and engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner. + Take and deliver orders efficiently. + Provide attentive service and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction. + Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including bar tops and surrounding spaces. + Assist with service bar operations. + Adhere to uniform and appearance standards. + Perform additional duties as assigned by management. + Micros POS system, telephone, copier, file folders, fax machine, and other standard office equipment.
