Overview If you are interested in working as a Bartender, look no further. The Highlands is looking for new Bartenders to join our team. You will be responsible for serving high-quality drinks to guests as well as taking drink orders and maintaining the bar. Long-Term Thinking Excellence in Execution Attitude is Everything Develop Create People Serve our team members first so they can, in turn, serve our guests and community Responsibilities Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to,): • Collect money for drinks served. • Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. • Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment. • Balance cash receipts. • Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons. • Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws. • Serve wine, cocktails, and beer • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons. • Clean bars, work areas, and tables. • Serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar. • Slice fruit for garnishing drinks. • Additional responsibilities as assigned by your manager Qualifications Required Qualifications (knowledge, skills, certifications, education, etc): • Must be 18 years of age • Must possess ServSafe certification (or acquire it upon hire) • Must be able to work in a fast- paced environment
