Job Summary

Responsible for providing excellent banquet bartending service to all guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner displaying a high standard of guest services. This position's starting wage is $15, plus tips.

Essential Functions Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members. Responsible for all Front of the House Bar services from start to finish Manages Information Checks BEO Book for upcoming events, event assignments and bar pull sheets Meets with Banquet Manager/Supervisor to discuss event requirements (i.e. host/cash bar, specialty liquor, signature drinks, etc.) Knowledge of all promotions and events Attends Pre-shift/pre-event meeting Service Staff Accountability Assists Banquet Manager/Banquet Supervisor with training employees on steps of service and Universal Service Standards Exhibits pride in professional appearance High level of commitment to Customer Service Executes Event Day Procedures Pulls bar equipment/liquors needed according to pull sheet for the event Set up bar and back bar with appropriate glassware, mixers, sodas, liquors, wines according to BEO Set up register and receive bank from cashier cage Breakdown bar and ensure all items are label and dated (as applicable), and properly stored in proper place; all liquor returned to proper place in cage Make sure storage area is clean and organized Must adhere to company alcohol policy and TIPS training Must adhere to Illinois State liquor laws Must adhere to company safety standards Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent Excellent customer service skills Must be able to successfully complete TIPS training and receive a Basset Card Basic Mathematical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Read, write, speak, and understand English Able to work flexible shifts Physical Requirements Physical Demands: specific physical characteristics and abilities are required to perform the work, such as agility, dexterity and long periods of walking, standing, bending, constant motion, carrying or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 40 pounds or more Work is performed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Work is performed in an area that is adequately lighted and ventilated Work is performed with standard kitchen and bar equipment, in coolers, and sometimes slippery floors Wears protective clothing required by the work environment or governmental regulations Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations What’s In It For You Competitive wages with annual performance reviews Comprehensive health coverage plan that includes medical, dental, and vision 401(K)/ Company Match Employee Stock Purchase Plan Access Perks and Childcare discounts
