Responsible and accountable for all aspects of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages sales. Ensure consistent quality of products. Prepares beverages with a sense of quality and flair to enhance the experience of the guest during their visit. The focus shall always be on ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while maintaining a positive can-do attitude with an emphasis on the highest level of guest service for both external and internal guests to Live! Casino and Hotel.

 

Monday, Tuesday from 10-4 pm & Friday from 10-4 pm

Responsibilities

 

Where You'll Make an Impact:

Mixing, garnishing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications.Guiding guests through menu and drink options as well as Casino and hotel offerings.Taking orders from guests and returning these orders accurately and in a timely manner.Keep area clean and orderly.Providing friendly and attentive service.Handling all cash transactions.Opening and closing inventories of all stock.Retaining knowledge of company policy and procedure regarding guest limitations.Other duties as assigned. 

Skills to Help You Succeed:

Customer service.POS (point of sales) Software operating experience.Upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude.Ability to read write and understand basic instructions.Knowledge of all bar equipment, Easy Bar System, ABC laws and regulations.Able to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication.Ability to communicate with all departments and other team members.Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.Flexible scheduleWorking in a team environment. Qualifications

Must-Haves:

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.Experience:  Six months to one year experience as a bartender.License:  Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license, obtain and maintain an Alcohol Beverage Control card, and any applicable health certificates.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels.Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
