We are currently recruiting for a On-Call Bartender for the new Four Seasons Private Residences at 706 Mission Street.
Hourly wage - $36.77
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and 706 Mission Street Co LLC, an affiliate of Westbrook Partners, recently completed the development of 146 Private Residences located in the heart of San Francisco’s vibrant Yerba Buena arts and cultural district at 706 Mission Street. Completed and opened in February 2021, Four Seasons Private Residences at 706 Mission Street, San Francisco combines spacious living and distinctive elegance with legendary Four Seasons personalized services.
The project is the latest in an exclusive collection of Four Seasons standalone Private Residences offering residents premier amenities and services, independently managed by Four Seasons staff, which will complement the neighboring Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences San Francisco and nearby Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero. About the Position
Operating from the amenities floor/Club Level, the Bartender will serve owners and their guests needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods. In addition, the Bartender is to service as a server as this person will be largely alone while serving the Bar/Lounge, Game Room, Private Dining Room, and Veranda. The Bartender responds to a wide variety of homeowner requests by accurately assessing the resident’s needs and inquiries; offering personal recommendations and personalized touches to achieve maximum resident satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
Confirm orders including any special needs or requests using the point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the original order.
Serve and take orders from those seated at the bar area offering interesting and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to their concerns and requests.
Properly and accurately close guest checks; process credit card payments; properly settle voided checks.
Provide serving utensils for those who bring outside food into the Club Level as outside food is permitted and encouraged.
Provide service for those in all areas of the Club Level (i.e. Bar/Lounge, Game Room, Private Dining Room and Veranda).
Clear table/bar top of used dishes, glasses, and cutlery, clean within a dish/glass washer and restock.
Assist with bar inventory.
Cut fruit and prepare beverage garnishments.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Assistant Director or Director of Residences.

Any interactions with third parties must always be professional and in a way of the highest ethical and moral code.

Valid Driver’s License required.

High-School education or equivalent experience
Ability to utilize computer equipment and use email; experience with Outlook, HotSOS, Keytrack, etc. is preferred.
Must be flexible with schedule; able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, overtime, and evenings.

Serve as a role model for others by demonstrating appropriate business conduct and ethical principles.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Visa Requirements: Must already be legally permitted to work in the United States. Applicants without valid work authorization for the United States will not be considered.
