THE JOB:
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for being knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections and maintaining the bar's appearance. You will also set the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $17.2843 Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Make and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and providing food service as needed 

Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar

Knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and nonalcoholic selections available

Ring poured or served beverages, collect a payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting the appropriate paperwork

Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Port with training and mentoring on the overall function of the bar, guest service, and bartending.

Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in the bar

Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority, otherwise refer the matter to management, notify a supervisor and/or security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

High school diploma or equivalent

Two (2) years of experience in a bar or similar environment

Experience working in a similar resort setting

Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays 

Alcohol Awareness Card

Health Card | Food Handler Card

Culinary/Bartenders Pour Card
