Reporting to the Director of Athletics and Recreation, the Associate Athletics Director for Administration and Finance's responsibilities include:
Set up departmental ledgers for all accounts; record daily income, expenditures, and transfers; reconcile monthly all accounts with statements from the office of accounting. Prepare itemized monthly budget reports for unit budget holders. Prepare the annual budget report, EADA/Title IX assessment in conjunction with the business office and proposed budget to be submitted to higher administrative officials for approval. Authorize and supervise preparation of all vouchers affecting the transfer of funds including accounts payable, and purchase orders. Supervise payroll payments for tutors and part-time or temporary personnel employees associated with regular season home events, special events, clinics, camps, and other programmatic activities. Supervise all department purchase orders and bids according to college regulations, review bids and recommend awards, and work directly with vendors on specifications and delivery arrangements. Authorize and supervise all college deposits, assigning revenue codes for entry fees, advertising income, program sales, and other financial transactions as required. Serve as Athletic Director’s primary advisor on all Human Resources issues and tasks. Responsible for ensuring that all departmental practices related to searches, performance reviews, compensation, reorganizations, and disciplinary issues follow campus best practices. Conform to the highest standards of professional conduct regarding compliance with department and institutional policies and procedures and adherence to the rules and regulations of athletic governance organizations of which the institution is a member. Contribute to the maintenance of good working relationships with all staff, student-athletes, and external constituents through (a) a positive and constructive approach to all tasks, (b) respect for the competencies of others, (c) appropriate conflict resolution behavior and (d) attend all Student Affairs Leadership Team meetings as a department representative when necessary. Arrange travel and meals for teams and manage all credit and WEX cards for the department with proper distribution and reconciliation. Championship and other extended travel will be required at the discretion of the Athletic Director.Compensation and Benefits:
$93,491- $100,329; Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and/or related field with preference given to intercollegiate athletics experience. Experience supervising personnel Demonstrated computer application skills (including but not limited to Excel, Google Workspace, or specialized accounting software) Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
