BAS/Controls Business Development Representative
Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is now seeking a Business Development Representative for our BAS/Controls team in our Altavista office. Responsibilities: + Grow the department's volume of Controls business with the sale of JCI and Honeywell Direct Digital Control systems. + Plan and specification bidding for building automation opportunities. + Cultivation of bidding opportunities with medium and large mechanical contractors without controls groups in their business model. + Works to develop trust and alignment with Service and Construction Sales teams. Be a bridge between departments and will be a key person to BUILD the business. + Cultivation of new and existing customer in the owner direct market. + Develop department branding and controls sales opportunities within the Service customer base. + Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies. + Work with the BAS design team to develop Controls estimates. + Responsible for quotes to the customers and the presentations thereof. + Responsible for obtaining vendor quotes for sub-contractors. + Work with Moore's pre-construction estimators when required. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent + Thorough knowledge of the BAS/Controls trade a plus + Sales and estimating experience preferred + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal + Works well with individuals at all levels of the business + Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task + Highly analytical and detail-oriented + Excellent computer skills including email etiquette, scheduling software, Microsoft products, etc. + Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation Here at Moore's, we offer an industry leading benefits package that includes: + Health, dental, and vision insurance with a Health Savings Account option + Short and Long Term Disability Insurance + Life Insurance + Industry leading PTO policy including a safety incentive to earn more PTO + 401K Retirement Plan + Moore's is 100% employee owned.
