As a Base Radiation Protection Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Monitoring and improves processes for alignment with applicable standards and regulations.Ensuring License to Operate in all Radiation.Managing direct reports that support Radiation workforce including standardization, internal auditing, dosimetry monitoring, training and implementation, reporting, plan development and implementation.Collaborating to develop and administer strategies to ensure Radiation and Dangerous Goods are transported safely and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and license conditions, as they relate to work with radiation sources at their location.Providing expertise to internal client organizations in coordination with regional / product line REDG representatives, to ensure REDG regulations and standards are accurately interpreted and applied to their policies, in support of critical operational and business imperatives.Provides expertise to support Baker Hughes Audit Program and assists in administration corrective action plans.Provides expertise to support the renewal, development and submittal of permits needed for operations and storage of radioactive material. Ensuring sources are leak tested and inspected in line with defined Baker Hughes standards and applicable regulations.Monitors and analyzes performance indicator data to identify quality improvement opportunities and advocates corrective action with internal and external stakeholders.Develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with REDG support staff and subject matter experts within Operations, Quality, HSE and product development to support the Baker Hughes Brand to improve radiation safety and compliance performance.Works with operating divisions and their training organizations to identify employee-training needs pertaining to radiation and Dangerous Goods, to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training programs.Monitors proposed and newly implemented regulations and legislation, to analyze the potential impact on Baker Hughes business processes, advise senior leadership and advocate appropriate action.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelor’s degree in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic EngineeringHave min. of 6 years’ experience in managing RadiationHave an operational experience with wire line and drilling systems Radiation sources.Have a Strong familiarity with Well Logging Procedures for OFSE tight deadlines and targets.Must be able to communicate effectively with upper-level management.Work in a way that works for you
