4 openings available. Raquette Lake Boys Camp is seeking baseball and basketball counselors to live, work and play with us at one of the finest residential summer camps in America. Operating continuously since 1916, Raquette Lake Camps is a traditional brother/sister sleep-away camp, located on opposite sides of stunning Raquette Lake, NY, nestled in the heart of the stunning Adirondack State Park. We are family-owned/operated and offer both campers and staff a nurturing environment and the finest in programs and facilities.

WHO ARE YOU: A baseball or basketball junkie who is prepared to share your love of the game with our kids. You should have some serious playing experience either in school, AAU, travel or similar, and want to see kids develop a passion for for the sport through playing as compared to spending session after session doing drills. Someone who wants to join a fun group of people committed to making the summer camp experience outstanding for the kids, the staff and the adults.

Counselors are... At Raquette Lake don’t entertain campers, we engage them. We are seeking college-aged or older young men to live in the bunks with our campers and be their mentor, companion, and big brother as you guide them through their daily activities, including meals, special events, and out-of-camp trips. Raquette counselors get the chance to develop deep bonds with their campers, spending seven weeks in the same bunk with the same kids and staff...all while also working at activities such as baseball or basketball where they can share their skills with all our campers. These positions start at $312.50/wk x 8 weeks with all room, board and expenses covered, plus appropriate time off. 

DATES: June 17 - August 10, 2025

BENEFITS: Our dates provide an excellent match to most collegiate schedules, allowing you to seamlessly build Raquette Lake employment into your schedule. Build your coaching resume working with multiple age levels at a nationally-recognized summer camp. Excellent wifi/Internet service throughout the camp.
