BSA EMS staffs two stations 24/7/365, one in northern Randall County and one in Canyon. We believe healthcare is a team sport and every player has something to contribute. Responsibilities Primarily responsible for providing emergency care and transportation of the sick and injured in accordance with established protocols, BSA Health System Policies and Department Guidelines Safely operate emergency vehicles in compliance with all laws, BSA Policies and Department Guidelines Accept other tasks as assigned by the EMS Director Qualifications Job Requirements: Certification or licensure as an EMT-Basic by the Texas Department of State Health Services American Heart Association Healthcare Provider completion Valid minimum Class C Texas Driver License with restriction “A” permissible Completion of the following Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency National Incident Management System (NIMS) courses: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800.A is required within 80 days of employment Preferred Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) Field experience National Registry
