SUMMARY


The mission of the HEC delivery organization in the ambit of the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) Unit is to run the HANA Enterprise Cloud and drive SAP HANA adoption and scale; provide Enterprise-class cloud offering for mission-critical operations; and run real-time cloud platform, infrastructure, and managed services, focusing on fast time-to-value at reduced cost and risk.

The Project and Program Office as part of the CDM organization has the following priorities:
 

Manage system landscapes, provisioning, upgrades & migrations. Perform project management for all HEC Delivery Projects. Act as the main interface to the customer project team to ensure effective communication.
 

These priorities are transferred into the CDM Organization to support the accelerated SAP HANA Cloud growth and adoption goals, and to ensure that SAP customers have an effective & secure way to move into the HANA Enterprise Cloud Adv. Edition, Private Cloud Edition, and others.

 

THE ROLE
 

You are a key contact for all topics around HEC technology to ensure a smooth move to the SAP HANA system landscape in the cloud. Implementation and migration of different solutions and technologies including the design, configuration, and operation of the solution landscape with the newest technologies, products, and innovations. The ECS PL manages the provisioning and upgrades of system landscapes in the Private Cloud Enterprise and HANA Enterprise Cloud This role serves as an interface between the RISE Sales/Engagement and the ECS Technical experts. Ability to work under pressure and constantly add value to customers and within the organization. Collaborate with different teams from within the ECS organization and outside to ensure excellent customer satisfaction; this includes interfacing with customers. Steering partners/system integrators on an operational level during onboarding projects. Acting as the Trusted Advisor towards our customers during the Onboarding/Migration phase.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
 

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in managing/ running landscape provisioning, installation, migration, and release upgrades.  3 + years of experience with SAP Basis, S4HANA migration/conversion. 3 + Years of experience with Project Management. Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role and have excellent command of de-escalating critical situations. Experience in working with cross-cultural teams or individuals.
 

Preferred skills
 

Good understanding of SAP Next Generation solutions and services (S4HANA Cloud, Analytics, SCP, Cloud, Mobility, HANA, Sybase). Hyperscalers basic knowledge (Azure, AWS or GCP). Project Management Certification is good to have.
