Brewhaus Operator/Batch Maker (Operator 1) Salary Rate: $20.00Location: Calumet, ILShift: Rotating Shift Every 3 Weeks (1 shift: 6am to 6pm and 2nd shift 6pm to 6am) We are seeking an operator responsible for learning all aspects of the production operation such as loading/unloading bulk sugar, melt processing, batching, mixing and packaging by performing the following duties. Responsibilities:Responsible for equipment start up and observation of possible malfunctionsExecute melt, bulk load/unloading, and packaging processes according to process/procedureBatch Mixer/Chemical OperatorPerforms quality control in accordance to standardized process/procedureReplenishes packaging supplies as necessaryOpen to cross-functional training in all areas of operation List Qualification or Requirements:Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred1-3 years’ experience in manufacturing or similar industry requiredPrior experience operating a forklift preferredHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent education Essential CapabilitiesThe employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
