**Job Title: Batch Mixer** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Batch Mixer to join our growing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing batches of raw materials for production processing, operating machinery, and following safety procedures to ensure quality and efficiency in our operations. **Responsibilities** + Pull samples for quality checks at various stages of the batching process. + Identify and address any deviations or discrepancies promptly. + Prepare batches of raw materials for production processing according to batch tickets. + Obtain materials from inventory and utilize scales or automated equipment to accurately weigh materials. + Clean and sanitize processing equipment, tanks, filters, pipes, lines, and pumps. + Complete all documentation or logbooks accurately and in accordance with GMP. + Follow hazardous material handling and personal protective equipment requirements, if applicable. + Perform in-process quality procedures. + Work under moderate supervision. **Essential Skills** + Experience with batch mixing, chemical handling, and compounding. + Ability to read and follow batch tickets. + Proficient in machine operation and material handling. + Experience operating sit-down forklifts. + Strong attention to detail and ability to measure and weigh materials accurately. + Knowledge of safety procedures and GMP documentation. **Why Work Here?** We offer a growing facility with a tight-knit team and a positive culture. The team currently consists of 10 people, including a logistics coordinator, chemist, warehouse workers, and batch operators. Steel-toed shoes or boots are required. The work hours are from 8am to 5pm with overtime as needed. The facility offers a friendly and collaborative environment with activities like cookouts, potlucks, and friendly competitions such as cornhole tournaments. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
