**91452BR** **Job Title:** Batch Operator - Effingham, IL **Department/Function:** Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, Utilities **Job Description:** **Batch Operator - Effingham, IL** The Batch Operator is responsible for running the batching computer for the Effingham Premix operation. **Job Description** + Sequencing the clean outs for the shifts + Sequencing the daily mixing for the shift + Operating batching computer + Weighing and sorting ingredients for products + Understanding and using the Oracle System as well as other databases + Ensuring the correct hand ads are put in the right products + Reading all comments on batch mixing instruction (BMI) + Checking the micro card located on each micro tub and checking for accuracy + Making sure the proper micro tubs are placed by the correct mixer for cut-in + Assist with dumping ingredients during cut-in + Ensure Micro bins remain full. + Report bin empty events + Forward looking ensuring all ingredients are gathered for hand add so lines run continuous. + Following all batching procedures as outlined in the SOP- P105 **Minimum Requirements** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent + Detailed oriented and has proven computer efficiency + Basic math and reading skills + Must have proficiency in all areas of mixing, micro room, and cut-in ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
