**Job Title:** Battery Technician **Job Description:** In this role, you will troubleshoot and repair various types of vehicles, from bicycles to 50k ton fork trucks. This includes rail car movers, spotter trucks, fork trucks, mobile cranes, man lifts, trailers, and more. We need a battery expert with experience in lead acid, lithium, and battery charging stations. **Responsibilities:** + Troubleshoot and repair various vehicles, including bicycles to 50k ton fork trucks + Work on rail car movers, spotter trucks, fork trucks, mobile cranes, man lifts, trailers, etc. + Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy equipment + Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment + Read and understand vehicle prints and schematics + Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, including cylinders, valves, and flow controls + Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting + Communicate with fork trucks via computer + Diagnose diodes, capacitors, and electrical circuits + Document and report repair activities and findings **Essential Skills:** + Experience in diesel maintenance + Forklift troubleshooting skills + Ability to troubleshoot AC and DC servos + Extensive hydraulic troubleshooting experience + Ability to read and understand vehicle prints and schematics + Strong electrical skills + Experience diagnosing diodes, capacitors, and electrical circuits + Experience with Zapi, GE, or similar controls **Why Work Here:** + Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance from day one + Competitive starting hourly pay with potential for higher rates based on experience + 40-hour work weeks with the opportunity for overtime + 18 days of paid personal time off, 11 paid holidays + Climate-controlled work environment + 100% 401k match up to 6% + Quarterly incentive program with potential for an annual bonus + Clean and safe work environment **Work Environment:** + 1st shift, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, 40+ hours per week + Most areas are climate-controlled, providing a comfortable workspace **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
