Job Title: Battery Technician

Job Description:

In this role, you will troubleshoot and repair various types of vehicles, from bicycles to 50k ton fork trucks. This includes rail car movers, spotter trucks, fork trucks, mobile cranes, man lifts, trailers, and more. We need a battery expert with experience in lead acid, lithium, and battery charging stations.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair various vehicles, including bicycles to 50k ton fork trucksWork on rail car movers, spotter trucks, fork trucks, mobile cranes, man lifts, trailers, etc.Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy equipmentPerform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipmentRead and understand vehicle prints and schematicsTroubleshoot hydraulic systems, including cylinders, valves, and flow controlsUse multimeters and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshootingCommunicate with fork trucks via computerDiagnose diodes, capacitors, and electrical circuitsDocument and report repair activities and findings

Essential Skills:

Experience in diesel maintenanceForklift troubleshooting skillsAbility to troubleshoot AC and DC servosExtensive hydraulic troubleshooting experienceAbility to read and understand vehicle prints and schematicsStrong electrical skillsExperience diagnosing diodes, capacitors, and electrical circuitsExperience with Zapi, GE, or similar controls

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00
