BCBA Clinical Manager
Job Scope: The Clinical Manager supervises clinical staff and ensures effective implementation of individualized treatment plans and interventions. The ideal candidate will monitor client progress, make necessary adjustments, and handle client and family relations. The role also involves training staff, maintaining compliance, and enhancing clinical practices. Key Responsibilities + Supervising Staff: + Managing and mentoring teams including Associate Clinical Supervisors, Clinical Coordinators/Program Supervisors, BTs & RBTs (Registered/ Behavior Technicians), and other clinical staff. + Providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations for team members. + Leading team meetings and coordinating with other departments. + Clinical Oversight: + Ensuring that the individualized treatment programs are implemented effectively and with fidelity, and making necessary adjustments based on client needs and progress. + Reviewing and approving treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies. + Monitoring and assessing client progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans. + Program Development: + Developing and reviewing behavior intervention plans. + Conducting assessments, and ensuring that treatment plans meet ethical and professional standards. + Managing caseloads and ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and effectively. + Client and Family Engagement:: + Collaborating with clients and their families to ensure that treatment goals are met and addressing any concerns or issues. + Training and Education: + Monitoring & Providing training sessions for staff and caregivers on behavior analysis techniques and best practices. + Compliance and Documentation: + Ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, regulatory requirements, including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) for safeguarding patient information, and maintaining accurate documentation of all clinical activities and progress. + Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment as per the company policies and procedures. + Data Analysis & Quality Improvement: + Continuously evaluating and improving the quality of clinical services provided and suggesting improvements areas when deemed necessary. + Analyzing client data to assess treatment efficacy, making necessary adjustments, and improving clinical practices and outcomes. Qualifications/ Requirements: + A Master's or Doctoral degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field. + Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA). + Minimum 7+ years of experience in supervising and mentoring clinical staff. + Experience with clinical documentation and record-keeping. + Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities efficiently. + Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and research. + Proficiency in conducting and interpreting various behavioral assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS) to develop effective behavior intervention plans. + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex cases. + Strong leadership and management skills. + Fluent in English, Spanish is preferred.
