BDR- PES Scaffold Superintendent

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contact and communicate directly with clients on scaffold projects. Leader of the Scaffold team reporting to the Danos Scaffold Operations Managers or Scaffold Project Manager. Performs on-site supervision and preparation of documentation i.e. sign-offs, work authorizations, pickup tickets, JSEA, and safety plans.               Supervisors will be required to work “on their tools” as needed by the Scaffold Operations Manager or Scaffold Project Manager. Maintain and manage site scaffold material inventories on projects. Coordinating timely material deliveries and returns for scaffolding operations. Perform other duties assigned by Scaffold Operations Manager or Scaffold Project Manager. Supervises and assists in the erecting and dismantling of all forms of access including but not limited to: System Scaffold (i.e. Pinlock) and Tube and Clamp scaffolding. Complete daily scaffold inspections (Competent Person), material inspections, and minor maintenance to ensure equipment is in proper working condition. Climb and work in high places that may exceed 200’ in height, restricted spaces in places hanging over water (Offshore Personnel) and in confined spaces. Conduct behavioral based safety observations. Assist construction personnel with various projects including but not limited to: Rig equipment loads and complete various construction projects. Assist in the assembly of pipe spools, by bolt up flange connections. Assist crane operator with equipment and material movement on the platform. Coordinate crane activity for transport of material to work site with ability to properly rig equipment such as slings and cables. ssist welders and fitters with assembly of pipe & pipe fittings. QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements:

Must have 8+ years of Scaffolding experience on offshore or land/plant/refinery jobs. Must have 5+ years of Scaffold Supervisor experience on offshore or land/plant/refinery jobs. Must have valid TWIC card Must have own tools. General knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart L Regulations. NCCER certification a plus Offshore certifications a plus Experience using safe work habits
