Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Perform Bearing application analysisCommunicate analytical results to customers, suppliers, team members and other business unitsFacilitate Bearing supplier & procurement collaborationConduct Bearing parts list & design reuseProvide technical support of machine product group NPI and CPI programs for Rolling Element BearingsReview and approve Bearing DrawingsUnderstand and follow Caterpillar specifications and design guidesProvide technical support for aftermarket growth projects

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 10 years of Product Design experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in Bearing DesignProficient with Creo

Top Candidates will also have:

Mechanical aptitudeExperience with Microsoft Excel Macros – Microsoft VBAExperience with Power BIExperience with Team CenterStrong attention to detailExperience with power transmissionProject management skills – develop, maintain, and execute a project planAnalytical skills and data analytics experienceGeometric dimensions and tolerancesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with global internal partners
