We are seeking a Part Time Beauty Advisor who will be excited about bringing to life the latest innovations in hair styling tools. 

Position Overview

Our Beauty Advisor will represent our client, Dyson, and their premium line of hair styling products. You will visit local Nordstrom and Sephora stores to engage shoppers and demonstrate all the reasons why Dyson hair styling tools are pioneering and the best that money can buy! Dyson's Supersonic hair dryer, Airwrap styler, Airstrait wet to dry straightener, and Corrale cordless straightener have revolutionized the beauty industry by combining cutting-edge mechanical technology with stunning design. 

Join our team to create memorable experiences and share your expertise with customers so they can look and feel their best every day! 

Schedule and Main Location

14-16 hours per weekendSaturdays and Sundays  Nordstrom and Sephora stores in Schaumburg, IL

What We Offer

$30.00-$34.00 per hour, commensurate with experienceCosmetologists with current license may earn higher pay rate401(k) plan with employer matchPaid online training to certify you on Dyson product knowledgeW2 employment with biweekly pay schedulePaid time off

What you will do

Share enthusiasm about the Dyson brand with store associates and customersConduct interactive styling demos & product presentations to individuals and groupsProvide engaging beauty consultations and expert product knowledge advice to increase salesTrain store personnel to communicate Dyson information with confidenceMaintain visual product display standardsEstablish positive professional connections with store leaders and beauty advisorsParticipate in paid training sessions and team conference callsComplete surveys with feedback and pictures after each shift

Valid cosmetology license strongly preferredHigh energy and strong relationship-building skillsExperience in hair styling and/or working in a salon environmentExperience in retail sales preferredAccess to reliable vehicle transportation to commute to assigned storesMust adhere to dress code/professional appearance standards and demeanorAccess to a smart device to complete reporting and communicate with district managerAbility to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
