A day in the life…

Set and achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the teamSet and achieve sales goals, for both in-store and digital selling with effective use of selling tools (inclusive of text and social media)Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging mannerProvide honest and confident feedback to customers regarding men’s grooming and fragrance productsBuild lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new products and invite them to upcoming eventsConsistently seek new trend and product knowledge to act as an expert for the customerOpen new Nordstrom Rewards™ accounts as a means of building customer relationshipsBuild and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business resultsManage the scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotionsCommunicate business opportunities that include line performance, stock levels and team motivation/recognitionPerform daily department maintenance tasks including stock work, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, merchandise transfers and light cleaning

Have a high school diploma, or equivalent (preferred)Proven ability to set and achieve sales goalsCompetitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environmentDemonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkersKnowledgeable and enthusiastic about cosmetic trendsAbility to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to quickly learn new procedures and processesStrong organizational and follow-through skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of ownership, accountability and initiative
