The role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Beer Pricing Governance Junior Manager for our Global Beer Franchise. This role serves as a critical liaison between senior management, the Global Brand team, and various cross-functional partners to support decision-making, drive strategic growth, and deliver insightful business analysis in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You will lead complex relationships, develop collaboration across diverse teams, and lead critical financial processes that contribute to the strategic success of our beer franchise business.
Key responsiblities:
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with brand teams, markets, tax, finance controllers, and other partners.
Act as the key finance liaison for the BBA/Beer franchise business, facilitating clear and effective communication.
Strategic Decision Support
Provide senior management with actionable insights and business analysis to drive strategic growth initiatives.
Coordinate and support the setup or transformation of trading chains, ensuring compliance with tax, pricing, and commercial requirements.
Pricing Leadership
Own the annual beer pricing process, working collaboratively with global and local teams, including tax, transfer pricing, and supply teams.
Implement and improve pricing processes in coordination with commercial managers and markets.
Performance Analysis & Insights
Deliver insightful performance analyses to guide informed decisions and enable timely issue resolution.
Supervise franchise performance, identifying opportunities for growth and areas of improvement.
Execution & Process Coordination
Drive the execution of initiatives within a complex network of partners and teams.
Ensure trading models are commercially sound, tax-compliant, and optimized for market success.
Inspiring Change & Continuous Improvement
Take ownership of change initiatives within your area, driving adoption and fostering innovation.
Understand and articulate route-to-market options and their implications, supporting business strategy development.
About you:
Experience in Diageo pricing processes eg. product costing, BTP, ICSP, Transfer pricing, Royalties
Overview of the management and statutory reporting structure in Diageo
Strong accounting knowledge
Strong communication and influencing skills (written & verbal)
Strong in relationship building and partner management
Experience of working within international / multicultural environment
Experience in working with integrated software systems: SAP, Excel, BFC
Self-starter – ability to work through problems to resolution
Strong analytical and questioning skills
