THE ROLE   

The Beer Vendor is responsible for the in-seat service of alcoholic beverages while collecting payment in a timely, courteous manner. The Beer Vendor is also responsible for ensuring all guests being served are of legal age, as per corporate, facility, and government policies as it pertains to alcohol service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensure total guest/fan satisfaction Follow all cash handling procedures Take guests’ orders and perform manual cash transactions without obstructing the view of other fans Know your surroundings to anticipate and assist all guest/fan needs Provide your own pouch to secure and store money and float Use the correct assigned cups for all poured products Must be in proper uniform at all times, including hat, designated shirt, black pants/shorts, black regulation shoes Perform duties with safety in mind at all times Ensure that all company, facility, and provincial regulations are followed in respect to responsible alcohol service Ensure that appropriate service and price buttons are worn Sign-off and verify inventory tracking sheet before signing out Clean bags, bins, or trays at the end of shift

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Must be able to comfortably lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Prior experience in similar facility or operation a plus. Able to work independently. Smart Serve certification and a minimum age of 18 to serve, as per the Province of Ontario. Ability to handle multiple projects and high-volume situations simultaneously. The ability to make change manually. Strong vocal and communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of customers and employees and receive direction from superiors. Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: On Site

The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, and stoop.
